What Are The Best Wireless Mics For Churches?
In today’s episode of controversial subjects we’ll be be talking about 3 of my favorite wireless mics for churches and why I like them so much. Full disclosure, I am usually a bigger fan of Shure than Sennheiser but that’s not really for any audio differences, rather than the connivence of using Shure Wireless Workbench more smoothly. I’m adding one of these to this list for the sake of all things fair.
Neural DSP Quad Cortex Review
The Quad Cortex has been popping up all over my feed for a couple of years now and a few months ago, I decided that it was time that I gave it a shot. Advertised as an all-in-one unit with a vulgar display of power, it had my attention. This unit is a great fit for someone who wants to have an all-in-one unit, or an amp-less setup.
Kemper Profiles For the Modern Worship Guitarist
Gone are the days of having to lug around amps everywhere you go. As much as I LOVE amps personally, I can’t justify bringing one to a gig or a church service anymore. Things like the Kemper, Quad Cortex, and other modeler pedals have changed the game for the the traveling musician. Plus, you never need to change a single tube out on a Kemper. Today we’re happy to announce that our two favorite Kemper profiles are now for sale on our online store.
Why Churches Shouldn’t “Do it Yourself”
To some degree, there's merit in doing it yourself. However, when you hire a company to design, install, and train your churches new A/V system, there's added benefits to that. By purchasing through (an honest) AV integrator, you can rest assured that we're not going to selling you too much or two little equipment for your churches needs.

Captures & Profiles for Church Guitar Players
Kemper & Quad Cortex presets are a dime a dozen. The difference with ours is that we cater them specifically to our user-case. We know exactly how we want to use a RAT in a worship song for example. We set these captures and profiles to work really well with a pedalboard running into them as well as using on board effects. My personal usage has always been with a board in front, or at least an effects loop involved. Too few of these presets for Kemper or Quad Cortex cater to this usage.

Are Avioms Still Used?
The Aviom was introduced in 2001 and is still a viable product today. Through the years I’ve played guitar at many churches, conferences, and events. Through these experiences I’ve actually grown to hate using Aviom units. Despite my opinion, these are actually still incredible units, but you just have to know the facts about them before considering them as a purchase.

Yamaha DM3-D 22 Review
I’m excited about the announcement of this board considering the jam packed features that it’s boasting. The Yamaha DM3-D 22 is a 16 input, 8 output digital console. First off, if the preamps are anything like past Yamaha models, I’m pumped. Yamaha makes some of my favorite audio equipment on the market. Particularly the mixers and drums. The Yamaha DM3-D 22 is also equipped for 16x16 Dante right out of the box. That’s huge. This board is meant to be small and compact, so naturally it’s not for everyone or every purpose. So who is the Yamaha DM3-D 22 for exactly?
